The Future is HereAbstractThe school is one of the few institutions that has suffered the least changes over the centuries, that technology is gradually changing that. Teachers and students alike can take advantage of new methods and aids introduced in the classroom. The use of technology can make discipline more challenging and motivating, by increasing the number of ways a teacher has to reach his/her students. Students have new tools to help them learn, and in the process bail with their teachers. Technology however is not without its detriments. When applied improperly, it can have negative consequences. Students may start to depend on it too much, and in the process have creativity and focus. It can also lead to a lack of interaction with their peers, which hurts their social skills. The advantages far supersede the negatives, and the key is to find a balance mingled with the old and the new.Technology is one of the biggest contradictory issues of our times. Some believe it helps peoples busy lives, and some believe it is causing problems among people, such as slothfulness and lack of culture. nevertheless when it comes to technology in education, the situation becomes even more complicated. Internet, softw ar, computers, media in general and television are some of todays privileges that are used in education. Some people believe that students are becoming so dependent on technology that their instruction process is becoming jeopardized. But technology, if well used, can improve students learning skills.
